D.S. Brown offers both traditional medical plans as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible health plans that allow you to set aside money on a tax-free basis to pay for your out-of-pocket medical expenses. The unused HSA money rolls over from year to year, allowing you to save for current and future medical expenses. Traditional medical plans offer FSA health care spending accounts allowing you to set aside additional pre-tax dollars each year to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses. Both traditional and HSA eligible medical plans offer access to a dependent care flex spending account which allows you to set aside additional pre-tax dollars each year to pay for eligible dependent care expenses such as daycare.
The company wellness program provides employees and their covered adult dependents with resources to help better manage their health. Programs include lifestyle healthy coaching, annual health assessments, and to help stay motivated and achieve your fitness goals the health plan provides partial reimbursement toward fitness center membership fees, smoking cessation, and weight loss programs.
Life & Disability Protection
Full-time employees receive $50,000 of basic life & AD&D insurance coverage.
If you have a qualifying disability, the short-term disability plan replaces 60 percent of your weekly pay, up to the weekly maximum, for up to 26 weeks. Long-term disability benefits of 60 percent of eligible pay begin after short-term disability has been exhausted.
Full-time employees receive vacation time based on length of service with D.S. Brown, from one week of personal time off (PTO) after six months up to four weeks of PTO after 15 years. In addition, D.S. Brown team members typically observe 11 paid holidays each year.
